CSE celebrates Halloween with door decorating contest, trick-or-treating, and more

Faculty, staff, and students gathered for candy and cider in the Beyster Building third-floor alcove.

This Halloween, CSE faculty, staff, and students gathered to celebrate the holiday with a number of spooky activities and competitions, including a door decorating contest, office trick-or-treating, and some riveting rounds of  oversize chess. 

Sixteen offices entered the door decorating contest, and Room 4909 took first prize for their life size model of Samara from “The Ring.” Room 2741 came in second place with a CSE skeleton, and Room 3909 won third for their “Coraline”-themed door decor.
